Pythagorean theorem
Calculate the hypotenuse or a leg of a right triangle.
Choose the side to calculate. For the hypotenuse, enter both legs; for a leg, enter the hypotenuse and the known leg.
Example
With legs of 3 and 4, the hypotenuse is 5. With a hypotenuse of 5 and a leg of 3, the other leg is 4.
